Q. I constantly crave romaine lettuce and I go out and buy a bag with 3 heads, chop it down, (rinse it) and eat it within a day and a half. I can literally sit there for an hour just eating romaine lettuce. I crave the crunch. It’s been like this for a couple months now. Could this be some type of deficiency I have?
A. Craving romaine lettuce is probably not a sign that you have a vitamin deficiency. Romaine lettuce is a great-low calorie snack and an excellent source of vitamin A. However, make sure to include other fruits and vegetables in your day to get a variety of vitamins and minerals.
