I like to make protein smoothies with fruit and was wondering should i be using my scale or a measuring cup? My recipes usually call for 8oz. of fruit; which are frozen, and I know there is a difference between the cup and the scale…I’m just not sure which to actually go by. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Using a scale is more accurate at measuring exactly 8 oz. However, if you do not have a scale available, using a measuring cup will suffice. The variation between the amount of fruit measured on the scale or from using a measuring cup will be minimal. Try this Strawberry Banana Smoothie for a refreshing change!
