I was recently told that Broccoli had as much protein as steak. Is that true and is so, what other vegetables have protein?

Legumes (beans) are the only vegetables that contain a significant amount of protein. Other vegetables contain smaller amounts of protein and fruit contains little protein. Therefore, a serving of broccoli does not have the same amount of protein as a serving of steak (about 3 oz).
