What is the meaning of the phrase “5 a day for a better health” that you guys use in some of your ads?

The 5 A Day for Better Health program promoted consumption of 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day before recommendations were increased. That program has been phased out and Fruits & Veggies—More Matters ® is the new campaign to encourage consumption of fruits and vegetables. Recommendations for most adults range from 7 to 13 servings a day, which most individuals do not meet. To see how much you should be eating each day, click here.
