Trying to find water content in cantalope, watermelon, peaches and other summer fruit for my mother. She is on strict sodium diet and has to watch fluid in take. If you could help me I’d appreciate it greatly.

Your mother should consult a dietitian and her physician about specific fluid and sodium recommendations. According the American Dietetic Association, 1 medium peach contains 133 ml of water and 1 cup of watermelon contains 140 ml of water. Most fruits and vegetables are considered sodium free or low in sodium too! Visit the American Dietetic Association to find a dietitian near you that can help your mother create an eating plan specific to her health requirements.
