Hello,I recently added more fruit to my diet. Specifically I have been eating a lot of pears and mango. Is eating 3-4 pieces of this kind of fruit going to make me gain weight? Would I be better off eating 3 pears or a snickers bar. Thank you.

You’re always going to be better eating fruit than candy bars! You’ll feel fuller with the fruit and it should help you eat less of other foods. In fact, eating more fruits and vegetables can help you lose weight. (Be sure than no more than ½ cup to 1 cup is in the form of juice each day, because the fiber is in part what is so filling and most of that is lost when fruit is juiced.)
