Which vegetables promote dental health?

Q: which raw and crisp vegetables are good for dental health and what are they called in general?

A: Fruits and vegetables, in general, have been noted for decreasing tooth decay and promoting oral health.  Many are good sources for vitamin C, some contain iron and calcium, and they don’t contain added sugars. Fruits and vegetables are also composed mostly of water, and water provides a moist environment that is not conducive to bacterial growth. Excessive intake of protein (in meat), phosphorus (in soda), sodium, caffeine, and smoking all have a negative impact on bone health, including your teeth.
