Should I include more fruits and vegetables in my diet?

Q: I eat apples, bananas, cucumbers, carrots and bell peppers whole and raw almost exclusively for my fruits and veggies. Is this a healthy enough mix, or should I work in more?

A: We recommend eating a colorful variety of fruits and vegetables every day!  Adding fruits and vegetables to your diet in a variety of colors ensures that you are consuming a broader range of nutrients.
