my baby appears to be allergic to beta-carotene – what fruits and vegetables contain beta-carotene?

Beta-carotene, a precursor for Vitamin A and an important nutrient for vision, immune function and bone and skin health is mostly found in orange and yellow fruit and vegetables and also in dark, leafy green vegetables. These can include: carrots, sweet potatoes, squash, pumpkin, cantaloupe, spinach, collard greens, broccoli, kale, and apricots. However, if you suspect an allergy, it is best to consult a physician.
