Are fresh picked blueberries high in Vit K? If so, why are they higher than any other fruit? Thanks

Yes, according to the USDA National Nutrient Database, one cup of blueberries (148 grams) contains 28.6 micrograms of vitamin K. Vitamin K is mostly found in green leafy vegetables, but is found in some fruits including kiwi, blackberries, and blueberries. Males and females above the age of 19 require 120 micrograms and 90 micrograms of vitamin K, respectively. Vitamin K is a fat-soluble vitamin that enables the body to make proteins necessary for blood clot formation and healthy bones.
