I have calicification,where my veins turn to calcium,I am looking for a diet that has less calcium intake,as I will have my 3rd surgery on this problem,I have been eating more fruits right now,but need to know the calcium content in the fruits and veggies,I am eating,Thanks Sue
Calcium is not the first nutrient I think of when I think about fruits and vegetables, so you’re not likely to be getting excess amounts of it from this source. That said, various greens (spinach, collard, turnip, kale, beet, etc.) and beans (white beans, cowpeas, soybeans, etc.) are considered to be dietary sources of this mineral, so be aware of this if you consume large quantities of these foods. For the most part, the calcium content of fruits and vegetables is low; however, they do contain abundant other vitamins and minerals to help keep you in tip-top shape.
