Does the nutrient content of *milk* made from nuts change from that of the original, raw nut? And, upon straining that milk, is all fiber gone if the pulp is discarded?

Almond milk is an example of a milk made from nuts.  This milk is made from ground almonds, therefore the nutrient content of the milk would be very similar to that of the actual nut.  Pulp is a significant source of fiber in foods.  If discarded, the fiber content of the food will decrease significantly.
