A friend of mine recently claimed that standard fruit and vegetables bought from supermarkets are so contaminated with pesticides that it is healthier for children to eat no fruit and vegg at all. Is this just a scare? I am afraid it is finacially impossible for our family to buy all our fruit and vegg in organic form.
