I’m creating a curriculum for a Toddler Tasting Class using finger-food sized portions (little or NO seasoning) of fruits and vegetables. Where can I go (internet sites or other) to find a chart showing MONTHLY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR when supermarket/farmers market fruits and vegetables in my area (So. Cal) are at their PEAK of delicious flavor? If there is only ONE chance for a resistant 2-year-old to taste a 1/2” cube of kiwi, peach, papaya, honeydew or cherry, I want that piece of fruit to be at OPTIMUM deliciousness! Can you help? Thanks!
That is a great idea! You might want to go to www.fieldtoplate.com for produce that is in season in locally in different areas.
