Is it ok to combine meat, fruit, and vegetables in one meal. Will a person get the same nutrition if all are eaten at one meal setting. For example: morning, pork sausage, plums, lettuce, and tomato and boiled eggs. Should I wait a certan amount of time inbetween each item eaten.

It is absolutely fine to combine meat, fruit and vegetables in one meal.  Part of the enjoyment of a meal is the combination of flavors and textures that different foods provide.  In some cases, absorption of nutrients may be improved by eating different foods together.  Enjoy!

  1. I am relieved to see this. Recently, someone told us that one should not eat fruit with the meal but only between meals.. Is this because of some new research??
