Turkey Veggie Burgers

Full of flavor, this burger aims to please!
- 3/4 pound ground turkey
1 egg white, beaten
1 cup chopped portabella mushroom (about 2 medium)
1/2 cup finely chopped onion (1 medium)
1 medium tomato
4 lettuce leaves
Whole wheat sandwich buns
1/4 cup shredded low fat cheddar cheese
Mix ground turkey, egg white, chopped mushrooms and onions in a bowl.
Shape into 4 burgers.
Grill or bake until cooked through.
Top with shredded cheese, if desired.
Slice tomato into 4 slices.
Serve burgers on bun topped with a slice of tomato and lettuce.
Each serving provides: an excellent source of fiber and also a good source of vitamin A, vitamin C, folate, calcium, magnesium, and potassium.
