Sesame Garlic Vegetable Medley
This speedy side dish is short on time but long on flavor!
- 3 cups Assorted vegetables (Broccoli, Cauliflower, Summer Squash Julienned Carrots)
- 2 tsp. Lemon juice
- 1 tsp. Minced Garlic or Garlic Paste
- 1 tsp. Olive Oil
- 1/4 tsp. Sesame Oil
- 2 Tbsp. Minced Parsley
- 2 Tbsp. Minced White Onion
Cut vegetables into bite-sized pieces (approx. 1" X 1"). In small bowl, whisk together lemon juice, garlic, olive oil and sesame oil.
Place vegetables, onion and the lemon juice mixture in a Glad® SimplyCookingTM Microwave Steaming Bag. Seal the bag and shake gently.
Microwave on High Power (100%) for 3 1/2 minutes*. Let stand 1 minute before opening.
Season with salt & pepper, stir well, and top with parsley.
*For 1,000 W microwaves (oven power varies, adjust times accordingly)
