Berry Cherry Mustard

Use Berry Cherry Mustard as a condiment for roasted or grilled meats.

Serves: 9- 1/3 cup portions
Cups of Fruits & Vegetables per Serving:
- 1 cup red wine vinegar
1 cup hearty, dry red wine, such as Zinfandel, or cranberry juice
1 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon toasted mustard seeds
2 strips of lemon peel (2 inches by 14 inch)
1 stick of cinnamon
3 pints of mixed Chilean raspberries, blueberries, and cherries
Mix all ingredients except fruit in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Remove from heat.
Add berries and cherries.
Simmer 30 minutes, cover and refrigerate overnight.
