Can you recommend fruits to place in a basket or bowl so it reminds me to eat fruit on a daily basis?

Q. I’m a Weight Watchers member and struggling. I know the program works, but I’ve “fallen off the wagon”. I love fruits and veggies, but when they’re tucked away in the fridge ,I tend to forget about them and they end up in the trash:(.What can I put on the counter in a basket ,that will keep say, a week and taste good at room temperature? I’d like to put out f’s

A. Placing fruit in a basket or bowl (transparent is best) is great way to keep them top of mind to meet your daily recommendation. Consider portable fruits like apples, citrus fruits (e.g. oranges, clementines, and grapefruit), avocados, kiwis, nectarines, peaches, mangoes, papayas, pears, and plums. For your vegetable counter basket consider onions, potatoes, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, and peppers. Storing Fruits & Veggies Chart

You can consider other fruits and vegetables based on seasonal availability.  Be sure to wash your fruit before eating. Keep in mind an alternative to fresh fruit is frozen, canned, dried and 100% juice – all forms matter to meet your daily needs.
