Can you please tell me the amount of acid (if any) there is in a pear? Thank you.

A medium pear contains about 7.5mg of Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) and small amounts of several organic acids. These organic acids include malic, citric, fumaric and shikimic acids, and the amount varies with the growing conditions of the pears. Pears are included in the list of “sweet” fruits, with a low acid content.
