Do fall fruits and vegetables decline in quality once out of season?

Q: when are those vegetables which are in season in the months of september, october and november declaining?

A:  The fruits and vegetables that are in season for fall are at their peak for flavor and availability.  You may have a harder time finding some of these items during the spring and summer months.  Other items may be accessible year-round at your grocery store, but they may be more expensive or less palatable.
