Do you think the green bags and containers they sell these days for fruits and veggies are safe and do they really work?Have a great day!

According to many reviews, they seem to work, especially for green leafy vegetables, to keep them crisp longer. They claim to work by absorbing ethylene gas produced by ripening fruit, which makes the fruit spoil faster. The bags should be rinsed and air-dried between uses and can be used up to 10 times.
