What are ‘free’ foods other than vegetables?

Q. Could you give me examples of free foods? Hoping to find something other than fresh veggies.

A. Fruits and vegetables are the best foods you can eat if you are seeking low fat, low calorie foods. They are both considered ‘free’ foods on the Weight Watchers plan, meaning that you can eat an unlimited amount. They are ‘free’ only when consumed plain, with no added sauces or dips. Other low calorie, low fat foods such as rice cakes can be jazzed up with nut butters and fresh fruit for a new snack idea. For other great ideas check out our recipe page.
