Can frozen corn, corn on the cob, and peas count as vegetables?

Q. Does frozen corn, corn on the cob, and peas count as vegetables?

A. Yes – all forms of fruits and vegetables count towards your daily intake of produce. It can be confusing when you hear that corn and peas are starches. They are thought of as being starchier vegetables along with potatoes, but they are just as important as other vegetables for fiber, vitamins and minerals.
