how do you freeze okra? Does it get breaded first?Does it need a blanching to freeze?

It is recommended that you blanch okra before freezing. You can do this by immersing in boiling water for 3 to 4 minutes and then cool immediately by soaking in an ice bath. Drain okra and dry. If you intend to use the okra later with breading then you should bread it before freezing.
