  1. Its all about the slow transition and everything in moderation.

    So one approachc might be to encourage him to build a better burger. Instead of a double patty burger, do a single pattie and add on more lettuce, onions & katsup. Or start making oven fries at home (soak the potatoes in cold water for 5-10 minutes, then spray them with olive oil & season to taste. Then bake them. Much healthier than deep fried.)

    Also – does he like chilli – that’s a great place to include veggies (corn, zucchini, onions, peppers)

    My favorite is homemade guac & homemade salsa. You can put all sorts of fresh or canned veggies in here.

    If he’s sort of motivated to change for himself – maybe challenge him to make one night a salad night – and you can put lots of veggies, maybe chicken, some bacon, some egg on there.

    Its hard to create the desire to eat better. I suggest in doing so play to his natural interests & motivations.
