How to freeze califlower

It is recommended that you wash cauliflower thoroughly, cut into pieces and blanch in boiling salted water for about 3 minutes. Remove and drain, let cool and dry the vegetable. Then you can place the cauliflower into plastic storage bags and freeze.


Not all vegetables are good candidates for freezing. Some such as celery turns mushy after being frozen. For a chart showing methods of freezing different vegetables, click here.
