Q. I am interested in learning the nutritional value and health benefits of sprouts,e.g. alfalfa sprouts, bean sprouts, broccoli sprouts, etc… as well as micro greens. I would like to try and grow these at home and would like to make an informed decision as to which sprouts/micro greens and why. Thank you,Richard
A. The nutritional benefit of bean sprouts is mainly their protein rich quality, where as broccoli sprouts are rich in vitamin A, C, E, calcium, and fiber. All these sprouts are low in calories and can easily be added to any salad, sandwich, or dish.
