i dont eat a lot of carbs and have switched from using table sugar to splenda. in doing so my sugar went from the low 70’s fasting to 100 exact. Is the splenda the reason for the increase in sugar levels? I have not changed anything else in my diet.

Splenda should not cause an increase in your blood sugar levels. If your fasting levels have increased first thing in the morning, you may need to adjust your night time foods and insulin. Please seek the help of your doctor or dietitian. You can find a dietitian in your area here.
