I eat a lot of palm hearts I wonder are there any benefits to this, also I’m a type 2 diabetic, best raw or cooked?

One cup of heart of palm contains more than 20% of the daily value for vitamin B6, potassium, zinc and copper. It also contains more than 10% of the daily value for vitamin B2, vitamin C and iron. It is low in fat and sodium, and like all fruits and vegetables, contains no cholesterol. With 167 calories and 25 grams of naturally occurring sugar in a cup you need to include this in your carbohydrate count since you are eating “a lot” of them. Variety is always good, so have them raw sometimes and cooked at other times.
