If you Google “orange glaze for vegetables” you will find a selection of recipes. A glaze for 6 servings is as follows:

1/3 cup orange juice

2-4 teaspoons brown sugar (to taste)

1/2 teaspoon cornstarch

½ teaspoon grated orange peel (zest) or to taste

1teaspoon butter or margarine (optional)

Mix juice, sugar and cornstarch together in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until thickened. Remove from heat. Add orange peel and butter if using. Pour over cooked vegetables and stir to coat.
