Juicing is one way to get vitamins and minerals from fruits and vegetables into your diet, and juicing fruits and vegetables once in awhile is fine. However, it is best to also consume nutrients by eating fruits and vegetables. Juicing carrots or apples (or any fruit and/or vegetable) removes the fiber, the indigestible material from fruits and vegetables. Fiber is one of the benefits of eating fruits and vegetables, as it may have benefits for heart health, aids with regularity, and helps with satiety, or a feeling of fullness.
