Balsamic-Citrus Carrots

Here's a new twist on candied carrots, it's so good you won't miss the sugar!

Serves: 4
Cups of Fruits & Vegetables per Serving:
Think Variety; Think Color: Yellow/Orange


1 1/2 tsp             Balsamic vinegar
1 1/2 tsp             Olive oil
1 tsp                 Orange or tangerine juice
1 tsp                 Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix
3 cups              Baby carrots


Prep: Separately whisk together vinegar, oil, orange juice and dressing & seasoning mix.

Fill: Place all ingredients in a Glad® SimplyCooking Microwave Steaming BagSeal bag. Gently shake.

Cook: Microwave on High power (100%) for 3-1/2 to 4-1/2 minutes*, or until thoroughly cooked.  Let stand 1 minute before opening.


*For 1,000 W microwaves (oven power varies, adjust times accordingly)
