Should i increase my fruit and vegetable intake as i age?

Q. should i increase my fruit and vegetable intake as i age?

A. Fruit and vegetable requirements are typically based on how many calories you burn each day. If you are less active as you age, you might need less, not more. Note, though, that most people don’t eat enough. Remember that half of what you eat at each meal or snack should be fruit or vegetables.
