This table shows the minimum daily recommendation of fruits and vegetables that research has shown to decrease many of the leading causes of death, disorders, and to provide your body with the vitamins, minerals, and other essential nutrients it needs to function optimally each day. Remember, that when it comes to fruits and vegetables, More Matters! You can never have too many fruits and vegetables as part of your healthy diet—shoot for filling half-your-plate with fruits and veggies at each meal/snack occasion.
