What are the best selections of fruits and veggies for a pre-diabetic?

Eat non-starchy vegetables, such as spinach, broccoli, carrots, green beans and tomatoes.  Strawberries and grapefruit would be good options for fruits that contain lower amounts of carbohydrates.
