what are the good and bads of cucumbers

Cucumbers are fat free and sodium free, low in calories and a good source of vitamin C. They can be added to salads and sandwiches, pickled, or made into cold soups. The cucumbers in the grocery store are waxed to prevent wilting, and I recommend that you remove the skin before you eat them, not because the wax is harmful but because the skin can be tough. If you grow your own cucumbers, go ahead and eat the skin since it adds flavor, crunch and nutrients. You can find recipes using cucumbers here.
