What fruits and vegetables contain limolene?


Q. Hi, can you tell me what fruit and vegetables to avoid that have limonene in them? I know to avoid citrus fruits, but know of nothing else.


A. . Limonene is found in many foods because it is used as a flavoring agent It naturally occurs in lemons, oranges, limes, grapefruit and mandarins; but, can be found in chewing gum, ice cream, soda drinks, fruit juices, baked goods, extracts for baking and puddings. Limonene is also used in a lot of cleaning products, cosmetics, fragrances, and even as an organic pesticide.
