What’s the best way to store garden fresh peppers and cucumbers?

Q: Is it best to store green peppers and cucumbers fresh out of the garden at room temperature or in the refrigerator?

A: See our quick storage information sheet.  These should be stored at room temperature for best flavor, however they can be refrigerated for 1-3 days if they are used soon after removing from the refrigerator.  Always refrigerate them if they’ve been cut up.  Visit our pages for bell peppers and cucumbers for further information on selections, storage, and nutrition information
