Where do black radishes fall in the phytonutrient color spectrum?

Q. I am thinking about the 5 a day color spectrum categorization where phytonutrients correspond to colors. Since black radishes have indoles, would they fall into the green category or somewhere else? Is that right that they have indoles? Thanks for your help on this. It would be great if the descriptions of vegetable nutrition on this site told about which phytonutrients etc.

A. Yes, radishes have indoles and would probably fit best in the white or green group (white because the flesh is white). We promoted the color spectrum to assure that people ate across the spectrum of colors since there are some unique characteristics of each color, but also many similarities between the colors.
