which is better to eat raw vegetables or cooking them. My husband and I had different Ideas about this guestion.

The most important thing is to eat a variety of fruits and vegetables.  All forms – fresh, frozen, canned, dried, and juice have substantial nutritional value.  Cooked vegetables may lose some nutrients in the cooking process. Using as little water as possible when cooking will help retain the water soluble vitamins. There are certain veggies, such as tomatoes which, when cooked make lycopene more available. Lycopene is an antioxidant that may help to prevent prostate cancer. So it’s a great idea to mix it up a little and eat some vegetables raw and some vegetables cooked.
