Why is sugar in fruit not badefor you execpt for the added vitamins. Is the sugar different than that found in candy?

Yes, the sugar in fruit is different than that found in candy.  The sugar that’s found in candy is a more concentrated, refined sugar. Consumption of excess refined sugars can lead to cavities and is associated with obesity.  People going on weight reducing diets often lose weight by cutting back on foods and beverages with added sugars.
